Unsere (noch übersichtliche) Dokumentation unter docs.o3-shop.com wird bei ReadTheDocs gehostet und aus einem unserer Repositories anhand von Markdown-Dateien befüllt.
Um dem Zielmarkt DACH etwas mehr gerecht zu werden, wäre eine deutsche Übersetzung wünschenswert. RTD bietet die Möglichkeit der Lokalisierung über Gettext-Übersetzungen. Die Übersetzungsdateien zu pflegen und bei Erweiterung der Doku zu ergänzen und zusammenzuführen, ist jedoch komplex. Da wir auch auf die Community bei der Pflege hoffen, sollte dies jedoch einfach bleiben (analog der englischsprachigen md-Dateien).
Kennt ihr einen Workflow, der die Komplexität der Übersetzungen reduzieren kann?
Our (so far compact) documentation at docs.o3-shop.com is hosted at ReadTheDocs and filled from one of our repositories using Markdown files.
To do more credit to the DACH target market, a German translation would be desirable. RTD offers the possibility of localisation via Gettext translations. However, maintaining the translation files and adding and merging them when the documentation is expanded, is complex. Since we are also hoping for the community to help with maintenance, this should remain simple (analogous to the English-language md files).
Do you know of a workflow that can reduce the complexity of the translations?
